Wretch 32 – Don’t Go (Feat. Josh Kumra)

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

This is so damn crazy, the beat is so stupidly simple yet still it bumps nicely! This will hopefully be massive come the summer it hasn’t got the commercial appeal that Unorthodox has but fingers crossed it can still make some decent moves when it drops 14th August! Can’t wait for Wretch 32’s album (easily my favourite UK artist right now)!

Wretch 32 ft Alex Mills – Anniversary (Fall In Love Again)

Thursday, February 24th, 2011

Nothing makes me happier than a UK MC/Rapper on a slow beat especially when it is Wretch 32 . Check out his early mixtape Teacher Training Day for more examples, I’m not one of these people to start rating Wretch because he was on MTV’s and BBC’s people to watch in 2011 he’s been in my music collection since 2008.

It’s really nice to watch Wretch receiving the success he deserves, lyrically he is one of the best in the U.K and he is smashing the charts without compromising his sound massively! Of his latest tracks (Traktor/Unorthodox) to drop this is easily my favourite, also love the concept of the video so simple, no gimmicks – it just odes the job!

P.s. I also rate Alex Mills massively check out her A64 from last year

5 UK MC's

Monday, May 11th, 2009

In my opinion UK does it best when it comes to hip hop/grime/urban music. So I thought it would be a good idea to do a post on what I view as some of the better UK acts. These 5 are in no particular order just 5 MC’s that I think deserve some regonition….
