From Soul Culture a quick interview with Kano regarding Jay-z comments about how he is rating Kano. I love how humbling his response is, if this had happened to most U.K MC’s their ego’s would of shot through the roof!

Kano is back with a new single should you be excited or not? I’ve listened a few times and I still can’t decide whether its good or not…This got its world premiere last night over on 1xtra courtesy of Mistajam. First impression was that it took a while to kick in but once it did it was a banger production is sick… 2nd listen I wasn’t so sure. My opinion changes with every listen maybe its a grower?
In my opinion UK does it best when it comes to hip hop/grime/urban music. So I thought it would be a good idea to do a post on what I view as some of the better UK acts. These 5 are in no particular order just 5 MC’s that I think deserve some regonition….
I’m a massive Kano fan and have all of his albums and mixtapes so I listened to his work from the start to now. There was a lot of hype about this album and I wasn’t too sure what to expect from this project.
