According to Wikipedia this guy has been active within the music industry since 1995, it is now 2011 – so why has it taken me so long to discover this guy!
Looks like it wasn’t until 2010 that things started to get really going Aloe. The reason I stumbled across him was that Bluey Robinson covered “I Need a Dollar” on his mixtape which was released last year…I didn’t realise this was a cover until I did some Googling last week and discovered Aloe was the man behind this record. From this I checked out his album “Good Thing”, safe to say I am highly impressed with this album well worth checking out
Bluey Robinson – Mix/Mash Tape
Monday, December 20th, 2010I recently did my 2011 predictions, last year I predicted big things for Bluey Robinson. This didn’t materialise but he has been working away so maybe 2011 might be his year…it wants to be. Anyway today he released his first mix/mash tape to the world.
I can safely say its as good as I expected it to be, 10 tracks of fire! Look out for Get Money (Sampling Junior Mafia/Sylvia Striplin), Use Somebody/Club Can’t Handle me (the later I can’t stand the original but Bluey flips it), Live version of Rock With You and the soul bouncy I Need a Dollar. These are my four highlights but the seven other tracks are worth your time – grab it below!

Cannot wait for Bluey’s albums to drop been working some top producers for his style e.g. Mark Hill of Artful Dodger fame. I love Give Me a Sign fingers crossed for Bluey, in my opinion he is going to be one of the biggest R&B singers that the U.K has produced in recent years!
