The second A64 for me to blog about this weekend comes courtesy of Yasmin who I have alot of respect for as an artist. It’s an acoustic take on her debut single “On My Own” which is out now.
I am in love with this track, first took notice last year when it dropped as an A64 and was instantly in love. The chorus is pop perfection so glad this is getting an official release B.O.B’s feature verse fits in nicely and the production works perfectly for a Radio edit!
Interestingly this is the first track to air on radio and instantly be available for LEGAL purchase. Should be interesting to see if this improves its sales figures. My guess is it will be a slow burner as it will take a while for it to get around via radio/video airplay but I’m predicting a number one at some point. So confident that I tweeted this will get to #1 and if it doesn’t I will donate £20 to charity!
Here’s the video! Cannot wait for the album!
p.s. the acoustic version is also nice! Download the EP here!!
I have been rating Daley for well over a year now and tipped him for big things in 2011. Today he dropped his A64 courtesy of SB.tv and it’s sounding nice, you can also check it out below! He also mentions he is due to drop an EP this month(February) – very much looking forward to hearing this!
Listening to this will answer that question. This chorus is so simple yet it will stick in your head for hours! Adele absolutely smacks her comeback single “Rolling in the deep” from her 2nd album looking forward to that in 2011 – she has an amazingly powerful voice and her 1st album was perfection!
I recently did my 2011 predictions, last year I predicted big things for Bluey Robinson. This didn’t materialise but he has been working away so maybe 2011 might be his year…it wants to be. Anyway today he released his first mix/mash tape to the world.
I can safely say its as good as I expected it to be, 10 tracks of fire! Look out for Get Money (Sampling Junior Mafia/Sylvia Striplin), Use Somebody/Club Can’t Handle me (the later I can’t stand the original but Bluey flips it), Live version of Rock With You and the soul bouncy I Need a Dollar. These are my four highlights but the seven other tracks are worth your time – grab it below!

Last year I predicted big things for the following artist in 2010 Tinie Tempah, Willoe, Bluey Robinson, Plan B, Wiley.
Not bad Tinie absolutely tore down the charts! Plan B had massive commercial success! Wiley caused a stir on Twitter dropped his label and released the “Zip Files” for free! Bluey is currently prep-ing his Mixtape/Mashup (coming soon) hopefully see more of him in 2011! Willoe is no longer, Willoe she is releasing music under the name Maiday – new material expected in 2011…
Here are my prediction’s for 2011 – lets see what these five do in 2011 this time next year!

Why?…
My Top 10 singles of the year if I’d of included album tracks I would of been here for weeks!
p.s Yasmin’s track isn’t out till January but hey I make the rules!

It’s that time of year again, time to compile my best of’s. 2010 has been a great year musically personally it’s been a bit odd lots of hurdles to overcome but the quality of music has helped me get through what has been a tough year! Here are my top 10 albums of the year!
