According to Wikipedia this guy has been active within the music industry since 1995, it is now 2011 – so why has it taken me so long to discover this guy!
Looks like it wasn’t until 2010 that things started to get really going Aloe. The reason I stumbled across him was that Bluey Robinson covered “I Need a Dollar” on his mixtape which was released last year…I didn’t realise this was a cover until I did some Googling last week and discovered Aloe was the man behind this record. From this I checked out his album “Good Thing”, safe to say I am highly impressed with this album well worth checking out
I am in love with this track, first took notice last year when it dropped as an A64 and was instantly in love. The chorus is pop perfection so glad this is getting an official release B.O.B’s feature verse fits in nicely and the production works perfectly for a Radio edit!
Interestingly this is the first track to air on radio and instantly be available for LEGAL purchase. Should be interesting to see if this improves its sales figures. My guess is it will be a slow burner as it will take a while for it to get around via radio/video airplay but I’m predicting a number one at some point. So confident that I tweeted this will get to #1 and if it doesn’t I will donate £20 to charity!
Came across this the other day via Facebook of all places! A Jay Electronica mixtape consisting of a selection of some of his tracks!
Recently signed to Jay-z’s Rocnation, I first heard Exhibit C earlier this year and was instantly hooked. After hearing that I haven’t really heard alot of his other material so this is a nice introduction! Refreshing to hearing some decent Hip Hop!
This is going to be absolutely massive… like massive, massive! I like it but I do prefer Price Tag (the chorus & hook are like musical crack) but this has more mass appeal I think!

If you follow this blog you will know I’m a big fan of Daniel even before he appeared on X-Factor 2007 so when I saw a mixtape was in the pipeline I obviously got excited anyway it dropped earlier this evening! Consisting mainly of cover’s from his Youtube project which I have posted about before – with a couple of exclusives thrown in for good measure!

I first came across Yasmin when she went under the name of DJ Yasmin, she still does DJ (brilliantly…here song selection is always on point) however she’s recently made the move into making her own music and the hook on this is possibly one of favourites of the year.
Devlin is fast becoming one of my favourite U.K Mc’s obviously he’s been around many years featuring on other tracks but with the release of Brainwashed earlier this year I began to take more notice… Look out for this track I have a feeling it’s going to be massive Top 10 material?! Think its due out end of October not sure of the date!
Also looking forward to the album “Bud, Sweat and Tears” out 1st November 2010!
