I posted about this guy before/after Christmas, but I’m posting again because his Radio 2 show needs a mention. I do try to listen/listen again when I remember – its on Wedsnedays at 10pm on Radio 2 for just an hour – but its an hour of quality radio (highlight of my Radio week). Just a whole mix of Soul and R&B old and new buts its all good vibes.

Ok…so you can now get an app for blackberry where you can manage your blog from your phone. So this is what I’m trying out at the moment!

I was sitting watching TV earlier and the standard advert for “R&B Lovesongs 2010” came on advertising a track listing that included the following two artists N-Dubz, Cheryl Cole. What I don’t get is how is this R&B?
There are other artists like Lady GaGa, Soulja Boy on the track list who I guess they can fit into this genre in some form. But before long Justin Bieber will be branded R&B just because Usher is involved in the project (OK there is no doubt he has potential but right now?)
Yer I love this motorsport by far the most vicious and powerful I will take this over F1, Touring Cars or anything any day of the week. For anyone who watches on TV and says its boring blah blah until you have been to experience the pure power, noise and smell of these machines 5000+ hp etc etc. I was really into this and quite involved with the sport in the U.K all my childhood shouts to Andy Carter and The Huxley’s spent many a weekend at the track even traveled to Europe this is a whole other post perhaps!
Normally they race in pairs but some nut in the states came up with the concept of racing four cars at the same time what an advance for the sport it must be something special to witness this check the video!
I have time to spend so I’m going spend it by telling you if Vinnie Jones does not win this series then I will cry for at least a week the guy is just too funny! Every show this week he has made me laugh and out loud (lol and all that) his one liners and insults are just too much – VOTE Vinnie!
Special note to Sov as well she seems really cool and Channel 4 should remind everyone of her verse in Fit But You Know It remix (this is an all time classic UK “urban” (I hate the term urban) track) shes 2.27 minutes in, its also got Kano and a even smaller than Tinchy, Tinchy Stryder in it – thumbs up!
This guy is probably one of my biggest influences although he doesn’t make music he sells it and broadcasts it to the nation and has done ever since I can remember. My first experiences of this guy were when he did his Saturday afternoon slot on Radio 1 think it was an R&B chart he also played alot of Old School classics if I remember I guess this is what planted the seed for my love of all things R&B Pre-1995.
Doesn’t seem five minutes since I was composing last years version of this post… Happy Christmas folks enjoy it and eat lots of these (this is what goes down in my life)…
