Simply he is good very good… Dizzee did kill it last night and Smokey is too come but Daley has been my highlight so far out of all the Electric Prom stuff I have seen… Here’s why!
Not sure as what his plans are for an album but I am excited sounds like any album could be some special… U.K has soul voices!
This track is ridiculous its like a match made in heaven the two voices fit together perfectly never get bored of this obviously better than Ashanti’s version…
Fabulous is one of my highest rated rappers along with Luda – that if you throw them onto any track they will add that extra spice to make it a hit
Alot of people will not be overly bothered by this but I am what alot of people don’t realise is without So Solid then the whole U.K “urban” scene would not be where it is today… true Pioneers they paved the way for alot of the artists you see in the charts today!
In theory the market for these guys is more open for them to succeed than it was the first time around… we will see I do like this track but its not really blown me away!
Mario is one the most highly underrated of R&B male artists of the past 5 years most people will only know of him from “Let me Love You” from 03/04 there is much much more to this guy!
It was only yesterday that I remembered this tune well I tell a lie I saw the video for this about two years ago at a friends wasn’t really concentrating all I knew was the video was on a beach & was by a r&b chick(think it was on Craig Davids Top 40 R&B tracks).
Since then I have hunted for this track but couldn’t find it, then yesterday while eating my dinner this came on Kiss result I have been reunited (thankyou music channels you are kind of useful but on earth has happened to MTV )… So obvious it was Mary J Everything…
p.s my story telling is kind of shit but I hope you enjoyed…
Not as in Joe the England winger J Cole the featured artist on track 9 of Blueprint 3. I downloaded his mix tape “The Warmup” via Mistajam’s blog. I am in love with it track 22 “Losing My Balance” is the best for me but there alot of recycled Kanye beats which makes me extremely happy (old Kanye that I like)…
Here is an acoustic performance of Losing my Balance its HOT!
School of Comedy is a stroke of genius think its on E4, its is now V+’d(Sky+’d for the sky fans) it’ quite possible the funniest comedy I have seen in a while(not usually a big fan). I love the South African security sketches before long I will be adding “fulllyyy” and “shat” to my vocab. Here’s a sketch ….
The whole Lil John thing has been quiet for a couple of years here in the U.K but don’t fear he is back with tracks featuring two the U.K’s finest and biggest “urban” artists of the year! Jay Sean & Tinchy Stryder!
If you follow me on Twitter which you should really be doing (go here and click follow if you are not) then you will know that last week I discovered a massive lost gem from the O’Jays and got rather excited about it.
It was so good that I am making it my Old Song of the Week! Enjoy its kinda FUNKY….and not as in house!
.p.s no one does baselines like this no more and there is no point listening to this on tinny laptop speakers it needs volume!
